Presentation Reflection

I would say that I am more of a reserved person, so presentations are not my strong suit. When I was younger I felt like I always had trouble with articulating my thoughts. I was very much in my head, but as I matured this self conscious idea left and I began to find my sweet spot in which I can be passionate when talking. I feel as when I am more passionate when talking, the audience can feel this and will listen. I think that I found my this passionate sweet spot when talking for my presentation. I also think that having the presentation being on zoom helped me with not get so nervous when talking. I think there is a form of comfort when talking through a computer screen.

When coming into this presentation I didn’t really know what to expect. Seeing that this is my first presentation in college I was really exited to see what others were going to present about. I felt as if I took a safe ground and just stuck to the prompt, but looking back it now I wish that I would’ve pushed my presentation in a more creative way. None then less I am satisfied with what I talked about and shared about my self.

Looking at this video has made me realize that all people want to be entertained. We as humans instinctively look for things that excite us and find satisfaction in ideas that are thought provoking. Having a presentation in story format will bring this to the audience.
