When is efficiency too efficient to include natural human senses. As technology is growing, so is the way that we processes different information as well. In a statistical standpoint we are becoming more and more efficient, either that being automation or with the new quick way of communication such as text. Texting is an extremely new concept to the everyday human life. Introduced in 1992 texting became the absolute norm that we know today. Texting was composed to be quick and efficient. To say that texting does not convey an expressive humane connection is an understatement. Recently the concept of Emojis have been introduced into texting.
Emojis were created with effort to make texting more natural. Texting as of now is completely different from past years. I feel as if this is because of adaptation. It is known that we as a animal species adapt to our everyday environment. Texting/communicating through the internet is an extension to our environment. It also seems that the new generation are able to understand each other more clearly through text than older generations. Newer generations are able to read each others emotions more than what is perceived surface level. Communication is always changing. We are becoming more and more effective, but are we leaving out key essentials.
